The project was a huge success, the app achieved No. 1 position for 'Sport' in Brazil, was featured on ESPN and reached over 1M people on social media.
The campaign though challenging was the most exciting and testing technical challenge of my early career. The project was a huge success, the app achieved No. 1 position for 'Sport' in Brazil, was featured on ESPN and reached over 1M people on social media.
The campaign though challenging was the most exciting and testing technical challenge of my early career. Using Amazon Web Services we transcoded video which had been cropped and uploaded from Android and iOS. The apps we build ourselves using Appcelerator. Finally the uploaded videos were moderated and watched, commented on and voted on in a Drupal CMS. Oh and it was available in multiple languages!
In recognition the Umbro team presented us an illustration from the campaign, signed by Roberto Carlos. Today it hangs framed proudly for all to see in Bliss HQ.
